"My poorly little boy"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Accident and emergency

Attended the centre after my sons temperature raised to 39.1. He is 4 . He was seen at 3pm and taken to a room had his temperature taken again and was still high . He was offered a sandwich despite being sick and having a temperature. He was then left with a open window and told to strip him off and basically left for 3 hours with no further checks in his temperature or any more medication . After waiting till 6.20 we made the decision to leave despite being told by a very disrespectful Doctor our son was next on the list but we wouldn't have any idea how long our boy would be without having medicine or vital checks taken . Absolutely terrible . Awful lack of respect from Doctors to patients and terrible that a 4 year old is better monitored at home because it's obviously too much trouble to do that simple check . Honestly Avoid this hospital at all costs . It will be the last time I bother taking my children to that hospital I'd rather drive in to Sheffield and be treated better .
