"Hospital Birth Centre - the nightmare receptionist"

I’ve spent 1,5 hour waiting for my appointment with a doctor, who was available all the time while I’ve been waiting in the reception. Reason? The receptionist just simply forgot to inform the doctor. There were 2 more women waiting after me. Only when they arrived the receptionist called the unit to see us. The receptionist was telling me that it was extremely busy, they never took my name/details and simply forgot what I was waiting for. Just told me “you should wait”. Unprofessional, to say the least. I am very sorry that the doctor apologised several times for the receptionists mistakes. The receptionist kept saying that they were chasing the unit (the receptionist was not, cause I sit there for 1,5 hours watching them do nothing).
