"Made to feel at ease and not judged."

About: One Recovery Bucks

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

As the staff have noticed, I have often been upset with the social services and previous treatment,   feeling that I can't trust anyone and also feeling betrayed but my Recovery Worker has been impartial the whole time. I have never felt judged by her or had a problem with my treatment here. I believe my Recovery Worker was great to have especially as the nature of the treatment can often make us feel embarrassed and ashamed. My Recovery Worker makes me feel at ease and not judged.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. When people are active addiction trust can be very hard and is often a barrier, so it great to hear you found our non impartial and non-judgemental.

Keep working on your recovery goals and maybe ask your keyworker about working on your self confidence regarding your feelings.

All the very best.

Tracy
