What I liked

Having had 3 operations since Sept 09 I have had a lot of experience using many of your Departments from initial diagnosis, screening and xray of varying kinds, blood tests, pre op assessment and many more right through to surgery and ward care. I have been very impressed with support from Primrose Unit and the involvement I was given by all of the operating team.

In all cases I was treated to communicating with people who were happy, polite, efficient dedicated, considerate and humane. At no time did I feel undignified despite suffering problems in an embarrasing area. Being prone to prudishness this was very important to the way in which I reacted to diagnosis and treatment.

With hindsight the original op was successful but I needed two more to clear a complication.

No stone was left unturned by my team and again I was totally impressed by their doggedness and determination to sort me out.

What could be improved

The dedicated staff on Shuttleworth Ward where I went post op each time seem to be stretched to the limit.
