About: Mount Stuart Hospital

Husband attended day surgery 3 weeks ago for lesion removal from back. Internally stitched only resulting in infection, wound re-opening, countless visits and prescription costs to re-pack wound and postponed knee surgery as they won't operate with open wound remaining. Consultant apologised and said they would learn from this and do external stitching on future patients! Doesn't help him though. Incredibly frustrating, if we were private patients would be demanding a refund, NHS should demand one. Would not choose this option ever again

I am very disappointed to read of your dissatisfaction with the services at Mount Stuart Hospital.
