"A&E discharged my daughter without any scans..."

About: West Middlesex University Hospital / Accident and emergency

Suspecting pneumonia, our GP sent my daughter with breathing difficulties to this A&E in an ambulance. The doctor at the A&E just checked her breathing and heart beat and discharged her in about 3 minutes after telling us that it was a case of viral infection. We then informed our GP about this, fortunately she had us take x rays at Ashford hospital to confirm that this was pneumonia and required hospitalization.
