I was recently referred, by my GP practice, to the Medical Assessment Unit and later Ambulatory Emergency Care area. I was very impressed with the care and attention I received from them and doctors from the Infectious Diseases department.. Everyone I met, without exception, was friendly, caring and professional, even though they were very busy at all times. At every stage, they clearly explained the procedure they were about to undertake. This included many tests and intravenous medication. They were thorough and worked well as a team, passing on full information every time there was a change of staff.
A very big thank you to all involved
