"Botched knee replacement"

Had tkr on August 22nd 2015,

Contracted infection which after three visits to Orchard

Ward was not detected, this was picked up by my

Nurse at GP surgery.

Two years later still suffering extreme pain,

After being assured that nothing untoward showed

On the xray I had to insist on a CTscan, (why did surgeon

Not as duty of care be prepared To go down this route?)

One week later the result of the scan according to the

Surgeon did not show anything different, (untrue)

They were informed immediately after the scan that

"there is a small to moderate joint effusion. An Ossicle

8mm transversely and4mm transversely in max short axis diameter is projected through the supratellar region

Above the articular surface of the Patella possibly representing a loose body". The surgeon has never to this day mentioned this indeed when I requested my medical records the radiologists report detailing all of this was missing from the records.

Why was no attempt made to investigate the problem

rather than being shown the door saying nothing further could be done, is revision surgery not carried out at this

Hospital or as I suspect it is too time consuming when money can be made for the shareholders from more

Straightforward cases.
