I was very apprehensive about undergoing an endoscopy at the Alexandra Hospital as I have had very bad experiences at this hospital in the past and specifically asked to go to a different hospital. However I was offered an appointment at the Alex within 2 days of seeing my GP. I was highly nervous and upset but found the nurses and the Doctor very supportive and kind. I opted for sedation and remember little of the procedure. I was treated sympathetically and professionally and am very appreciative of the care I received in the Endoscopy Dept.
