"Referral to consultant gynaecologist"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Gynaecology

I am extremely disappointed at the waiting time for referral to see a consultant gynaecologist. I was originally referred to Stoke Mandeville gynaecology triage in August 2017 . I have just been given an appointment to see someone on 21st February 2018! That’s a seven month wait .....I have no idea if or when I will have the surgery. This is completely unacceptable and in no way relates to your alleged waiting times displayed on line .

I am so sorry to read that you have been referred to see a consultant gynaecologist and have been waiting to have an appointment which has now been arranged for February 2018.

I can understand how frustrating this must have been for you as you were referred in August 2017.
