About: Charing Cross Hospital

On the 9/11/17 after a week of feeling unwell I attended my Gp.

After several tests the Gp contacted a Neurologist at St Mary's Hospital.

Acting on the advice received the Gp referred me to a TIA clinic at Charing Cross hospital.

After my Gp appointment I went home.

At 1502 hrs 9/11/17 I received a telephone call from a Doctor ( name available on request)

The Doctor explained a number of scenarios and advised me to attend an A&E department.

Additionally the Doctor suggested that it should be Charing Cross hospitals A&E dept.

I advised the Doctor that I could not travel unaccompanied as my well being had again started to deteriorate.

The telephone conversation ended at 1505 hrs ( three minutes in total )

Whilst the information to go to the A&E department was obviously well intended I could not see the purpose of such a visit when Charing Cross hospital have a to be seen within twenty four hours appointment for all referrals.

This being advertised on the TIA department website of Charing Cross hospital.
