my father had been in a coma for 4 weeks from sepsis when he came round he as given great treatment while in hospital and had great home care. but my dad is a very hard case as he is socially isolated and does not talk to strangers. whilst at home doctors noticed his leg was huge and thought he had a dvt. he was given a appointment time at the dvt clinic when it was empty. this was a complete and utter nightmare getting him there but the two nurses where really good with him. my mum said they found he had two dvts and stated they would get the dvt clinic to come to our home. the dvt clinic sent appointment to my dad to see them so we had a trick my father to go to the clinic and when he got there he sat outside in the rain and would not go in until the clinic was empty. so the sister who saw my dad said to my mother to save having to go through the same problems and issues again they would get a nurse to come out to our home and get dad fitted for stockings. that was in February 2017 and to this day there has been NO nurse out and no contact seems as you have just forgot about him and to say I am not happy is a understatement. I have phoned the dvt clinic so many times and left messages but no contact back. my fathers leg is no better but because of his mental issues looks like it will never be treated
