"Sharing the caring"

I would like to say a very big thank you to all of the staff at the Barnsley Accident and Emergency department.

The care and commitment from the rapid response team and from the district nurses has been truly amazing.

All of the staff provide very important key roles from the receptionist through to the doctors, nurses and consultants.

The wonderful treatment that I received over the past four weeks was absolutely fantastic and always delivered with a smile, which meant so much on my recovery.

Anyone who is not a regular visitor to the hospital will not always realise just how much pressure the staff have to work under.

The amazing work which is carried out, sometimes under very difficult circumstances, has to be seen to be believed.

Once again a very big thank you to all of the staff who play such an integral part in the care and wellbeing of patients, from me and my wife.
