"Twin pregnancy complications"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50)

(as the patient),

It was found at my local hospital I have twin to twin transfusion syndrome. I was referred to Glasgow where this week I underwent laser ablation to try and stop the problem.

The level of care I've received from Dr Gibson and all maternity staff and anaesthetists has been exemplary. Without them I would have been terrified. They've given my babies a chance. I am back for a scan next week, fingers crossed everything is fine.

My dad received a similar level of care in the summer and he is now cancer free. A wonderful hospital.
