Had initial tests with gastroenterologist, who together with ultrasound colleague quickly diagnosed pancreatic cancer.
Soon transferred into the hands of consultant Oncologist who arranged for ongoing cycles of chemotherapy via the hospitals chemo unit. Have had three sessions to date with more scheduled, greatly impressed with the chemo team of nurses who have shown consistent professionalism, competence , kindness and empathy over the course of my treatment.
They help make a not great experience very tolerable.
