"Diagnosed Aktinic Keratosis Biopsy"

About: Queen's Medical Centre

I wish to commend the Doctors at Queens Medical Centre for referring me to the dermatologist for a skin biopsy on my face, I was later diagnosed with Actinic Keratosis (Solar Cancer) on my face.

I decided to treat my entire face with Efudix 5% cream and the Doctors at Queens Medical Centre supported my decision and gave me enough cream to complete a 1 month treatment.

Throughout the treatment which was extremely painful the Doctors would always call me back to discuss any of my concerns, I had multiple areas of skin damage all over my face and scalp and thanks to the Doctors at Queens Medical Centre my face is now clear of damaged cells.

I now use sun screen all of the time and wear protective clothing and hats to avoid further sun damage.

Thanks once again to the team at Queens Medical Centre and the NHS Dermatology department.
