I would like to thank all of the people who helped me get better after I broke my hip. I was in maple D, ward 18. Doctors, physios and OT’s I thank you for putting me back together. Thank you also to the lovely patients on my ward and there families, but most of all I’d like to thank my lovely lovely nurses, so kind and loving, for helping us to laugh, picking us up when things were so bad. I cannot put into words the wonder of these people. They should all be paid more than footballers!!! Doesn’t seem fair. Thank you my lovely nurses. Win Herbert.

It must have been quite a shock for you, breaking your hip whilst on holiday; I hope that you were not in too much pain during your wait for treatment.
