"Sometimes great, sometimes useless"

I've been registered with this GP surgery since I was born. My entire family has lived locally and used the same GP surgery. I remember being going as a child and seeing the same doctor (my named GP) every time, and I trusted my GP, so I was more than happy to go if I need too.

These days you never know who you are going to see, and never actually know what doctors are still working there!

For chest infections and minor illnesses, they're great. Get your antibiotics and be on your way. For anything remotely long term, they're rubbish. You'll see a different GP every time, and each one will tell you something else. You can be 100% certain that something is wrong, but they'll just palm if off as something else until eventually on about your tenth visit, seeing completely different GP yet again, that GP will tell you its the one thing you've been asking them to check into since your first visit!

This used to be a lovely practice, but it's gone down hill and I don't see it climbing back up any time soon.
