"Pointless being registered to a doctors practise!"

I have been registered with this practise for 2 years and during the first part of that had exceptional service and could not fault it, however within the last year it has become shockingly bad, on average I will dial the appointment only number 80 + times before I finally get through to a human being, you just get an engaged tone prior to it being answered and once you do get through they have no appointments and your advised to use a walk in clinic! We very rarely need to contact the surgery however it has become obvious that there is no point in doing so and your much better off going straight to A&E or dialling 111, I have a very young child and his temperature was through the roof and he was incredibly ill and after spending 2 hours constantly redialling was told they had no appointments for 2 days and I was told to take him clinic even though he was being repeatedly sick and was drowsy and this was explained by myself and my husband, this is disgusting service and we ended up taking him A&E.. we are changing surgeries now as I am fed up of the poor or shall I say non existent service we get.
