"Avoid!"

I have now changed practices after being registered here for a year! I rarely visit the doctor but my last experience was very disappointing. I poured my heart out explaining various women's problems to the doctor - I even made a list which the doctor would not look at! Finally the doctor said I was depressed and gave me a counsellor number to ring!! I am most definitely not depressed which I kept saying! The doctor made no effort to listen to my symptoms and had obviously made up their mind the moment I walked into the room! I was also due for a routine smear test but was told that the nurse left the practice in November and I would either have to wait until a new one was employed or go to a family planning clinic (which is fully booked for the next few months!!) for anyone moving to the town I would say avoid! I have now changed doctors to one which is further away but 100% better in every way.
