"Wrong date for appointment"

That I was called forward for an appointment a week too early after I had rang the same day and checked so my husband had to take the afternoon off work and we had a wasted 52 mile journey

Please accept my apologies for the obvious inconvenience you and your husband have experienced as a result of our error.

Whilst I think that this was an honest mistake, (the team wouldn't deliberately give our patients wrong information), I will remind them of the need to double-check any information before they pass it on.
