"Always wonderful treatment in Endoscopy"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

I have a long term digestive problem which requires a gastroscopy & botox injections at fairly short notice every 2-3 months. The staff in endoscopy are always incredibly happy & friendly & treat me so incredibly well. My consultant has to be the nicest & most cooperative consultant in the whole NHS & gives me the most wonderful treatment, often at less than 2 weeks notice. In the last 2 years they have improved the quality of my life beyond belief.

Finally the tea & biscuits which are served in recovery taste like the world's best. Thank you all so very much.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about ongoing treatment and the excellent care you have received over the last two years.

We do get many comments about the sandwiches, drinks and biscuits; it’s amazing how much tastier they are when you have been nil by mouth and have an empty tummy.

Your comments will be sent to the Sister to share with her team and your praise for the way they look after you will be greatly appreciated as I know they work hard to build such a warm and caring welcome to each individual patient.

We hope your continuing treatment remains so positive and wish you well between visits.
