"Endoscopy Department . Brilliant staff"

I was so scared to have to undergo an endoscopy. The staff were fantastic with me, very caring and displayed concern and empathy to me as they were aware of my nervous disposition.

The staff talked me through the procedure, took me to the recovery area to help settle me down and allowed my partner to stay with me until I was taken in for my procedure.

The Doctor was also very supportive and caring and made every effort to put me at ease.

I can say I was a difficult patient, but at no time was I made to feel stupid and dignity and respect were shown to me at all times.

Thankfully I cannot remember the endoscopy, but I will not forget the kindness shown to me.All the staff within the department were wonderful and should be proud of themselves. I can't thank them enough..
