"Wonderful staff at QMC"

The staff at the QMC again excelled at what they do best - professional expertise and care.

I went in for an angioplasty and was cared for from the start at X-ray reception, through preparation for the operation and the surgery itself.

The surgeon was informative throughout the operation, and also honest, which was much appreciated ( this is going to hurt...). Their perseverance resulted in the successful unblocking of three arteries in my leg

The operation was followed by excellent post-operative care, the staff ensured I was fed, watered and kept warm. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

I then moved to a ward to recover. Special mentions for the staff here, who chased and harried Arriva transport beyond their normal working times, to ensure I got home safely.

Well done again, all QMC staff.
