About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as a relative),

I just want to thank and praise the whole maternity team at Wishaw and Hairmyres who looked after my daughter during her twin pregnancy and delivery last week.

The whole experience was very positive and calm with full support provided at every stage but it was from delivery and after care that we really saw a first class level of care and support from all departments surgery, neonatal, special baby unit and the postnatal wards.

It was clear that all team members were working under a very heavy workload yet everything was done to ensure my daughter and the babies were looked after.

A massive thank you so much from a Mum who was worried sick about this process as I had read some reviews which were not complimentary of the hospitality but our experience could not have been better.
