"Wonderful Emergency care"

About: County Hospital / Accident and emergency

My husband was taken to the A/E department 29th September, 2017 by ambulance following my 999 call from a layby on the A34. He was seen immediately on arrival, and treated with the utmost dignity and respect. I was taken to the family room given support and a cup of tea. The Dr who saw my husband was brilliant they ordered scans and told us both what they were doing, communication was excellent. Staff nurse, nurses and care nurses were very thoughtful and thorough, they also treated our family on their arrival with care . Reception was professional and kind. Hygiene was impeccable.

When our family and I left the hospital after my husband was admitted we knew he was in very capable hands. A massive thank you to all the staff on duty that day. You were all professional, caring, reassuring and knew exactly what was expected of you.

Thankyou all

Nigel and Maureen

Dear Maureen,

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment around your families recent experience of County Hospital. I do hope Nigel is now well on the way to recovery.

I will share your kind words with Deputy Matron Beckett and her team- I know they will be very much appreciated by everyone.

With best wishes

Rebecca Pilling, Quality Improvement Facilitator: Patient Experience.
