"Excellent care in Day Surgery"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

From admittance to the ward at 7.30 am to leaving at after 6 pm my experience was excellent. My scheduled surgery went ahead before time after consultations with one of the surgeons and the excellent, caring and funny anaesthetist. I was a long time waking up fully but was semi aware of how busy the ward was; extra beds being brought in from A&E. despite being so busy the two nurses attended to my every need, being kind and reassuring at all times. I am now day 2 post surgery and in no pain for the first time in years. Superb work everyone.
