About: Borders General Hospital / Department of Medicine for Elderly

(as a relative),

My mother was admitted to Ward 10, Borders General Hospital having been taken straight to hospital from seeing her GP at the Eyemouth General Practice with breathing difficulties.

The service, attitude and care she received on Ward 10 was amazing, there was noting she could fault. Dr 'Andrew' and the head nurse were fantastic.

I visited my mother whilst she was in hospital and can vouch for this assessment of Ward 10.

Many thanks for taking the time to share your mother's experience with us. The DME ward 10 staff have been working really hard to improve our patient's experience - so it is lovely to hear that this is having an effect.

I will pass on your comments to all of the ward staff including the doctor and head nurse.

Please pass on my best wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery to your mother also.
