(as a relative),

Would just like to thank all the staff involved in caring for my father during his 7 month stay in Ayr (Ward 4), Irvine (Ward 2) and Crosshouse hospital.   I cannot fault these professional staff who go above and beyond their duty.   Special thanks go to the staff in 5D/E at Crosshouse who cared for dad during his last few weeks. They did so showing him compassion and dignity right to the end making his loss a little easier to deal with - thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness.

Dear Carer 37,

I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds as if it has been a rough time having your Dad ill and having three different hospitals to visit along the way (it is not easy). I thank you for sharing this and also for reminding us all what an impact it has when 'end of life care' is delivered with 'compassion and dignity right to the end'.

I will be very pleased and humbled to pass this to all the teams you have mentioned. I am sure the staff will really appreciate the time you have taken to give this feedback at such a difficult time.
