I have had to visit torbay hospital 3 times in the past few weeks; once for a mammogram, back for a follow up mammogram and biopsy and the third visit was to have a DCR operation in the Ophthalmology/eye surgery department. What fantastic staff in both departments. They all made sure I understood what was happening and why, I was spoken to in a considerate manner and treated with dignity and the utmost respect. I am so grateful to all the staff who dealt with me - whether that was handing me a cup of tea, explaining the surgery/biopsy or just chatting about holidays to help me relax during the procedures. The expertise, kindness and patience shown from each and every member of staff without exception has made each visit a positive experience.
Thank you all so very much
"2 departments both excellent"
