(as a service user),

I feel like my surgery, Mill Lane in Leith, deserves special recognition for the way the deal with appointments. I've needed to see them a number of times this year, and am usually able to see them the same day - once I was able to get an appointment within the hour!

Rather than having to ring at 8am, when you call the surgery at any time a Dr will ring you back and speak to you then to determine if you need to come in. If you need to come in, you're usually able to come in the same day. 

Getting appointments at other surgeries in the past has been hugely frustrating, but I have never needed to wait to see a doctor here, which has been hugely helpful and a relief to me.

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us following your recent telephone appointment with your GP at Mill Lane in Leith. I was really pleased to hear how this worked for you, in that the Doctor was able to ring you back and speak to you to determine if you needed to come into the practice.
