I was waiting for my husband who was attending the hospital for an outpatient's appointment yesterday.
Unfortunately I dropped him at the glass building main reception which was some way from where he needed to be - the outpatients main reception.
He phoned me after his appointment had finished.
I went to pay my the car-park ticket only to discover I didn't have enough money - I was 50p short and the debit card slot wasn't working as indicated by signage.
A member of staff who I think may have been from Housekeeping, as they wore a striped uniform, very generously gave me a 50p.
I think the actions of your member of staff were profoundly thoughtful and very generous as they wanted to save me having to wait for the car-park staff to come and let me out.
How kind is that?!
I shall never forget this staff member for their thoughtfulness and generosity.
They were an absolute treasure and is a huge asset to the reputation of this wonderful hospital!
