"We have a brilliant A&E in Stockport"

I must admit when I attended A&E yesterday I was dreading it. In fact I nearly talked myself out of going but the pain I was in got to much. I have to say what I great experience I had. There were signs that I was to expect a 3 hour wait, however in that time I had ab ECG, Chest X Ray and Blood and Urine Tests. Throughout the process I was kept well informed about my situation. During my wait I watched how kind the nurses and care assistants were to their patients. It was wonderful to see. However, my biggest praise was to the lovely Dr who was in charge of my care. They explained the outcome of my tests in a way that was easy to understand. They must have been very busy but in that moment they made me feel I was their only patient. Thank you very much to all of you.
