"No communication from the department"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

Over the last 4 years, I have twice been referred by my GP surgery to a "Hernia specialist", both times he suggested a support rather than a operation, & both times referred me to BVH for an assessment.

On both occasions I did not received any communication from the department, although letters were sent to my GP, stating I had not attended my appointments as arranged.

I have checked the correct address & contact details were held, and I am still waiting my assessment. I think it is unreasonable that I have to endure discomfort , then go to the back of the queue when nothing is resolved.
