"Made him feel so at ease"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Occupational Therapy

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was referred due to being diagnosed as hypermobile. He is a very nervous boy so was a little scared to go but the Occupational Therapist we were assigned to was amazing with him! Made him feel so at ease that he looked forward to going to his appointments! Everything was explained to my son and myself in ways we both understood. She was brilliant with him and made such a difference to us both!

Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback hebain! I am so glad that the OT made your son feel so at ease that he is no longer nervous about his appointments. It is truly gratifying to hear that staff are excelling and going above and beyond to make children's experiences within RACH so positive. I will share your feedback with the OT department as well as the wider RACH team. Thank you once again.
