My partner's cancer wasn't detected early. It had spread from his lungs to his spine. He was admitted to T5. All of the team that looked after him were so kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
After 3 weeks he was discharged with an appointment which we recently attended. It was amazing, he had put on weight and was doing very well.
I think he has done so well because of the treatment and care he received whilst in Barts. The whole atmosphere in the hospital, from the gate (King Henry's), gives you such a peaceful feeling. Everybody was so kind, friendly and they really cared for the people. Thank you all so much.
