I have had two visits to the Elective Orthopaedics Suite this year, one in March 23rd and again August 22nd 2017 for total hip replacement operations. It is not like been in a hospital more like a hotel, with my own room and wet room on suite.
I was a little worried about been awake during the procedures having only epidural anaesthetic but of course you can not feel anything at all it just the sounds more like been in a joinery workshop than an operating theatre, at the same time it was an interesting experience.
I was all done and back in my room within 2 hours, and in August I was back home within 48 hours, 3 weeks on I’m pain and stick free walking normally having suffering for over 3 years with bad arthritis. The operation will change your life for the better.
The brilliant staff will looked after me during my stay keeping me pain free well fed watered and comfortable, there is a slick team of people running this suite all of whom are very nice warm friendly and extremely professional.
"You will not find any better"
