I wish to express my deep appreciation for the attention, care and treatment I received at the Emergency Care Unit in Chorley and South Ribble Hospital on Friday 15th September 2017.
Approximately 7.00p.m. I arrived at the Unit requiring attention for a blood seepage in my stomach wall which was caused by a self injection of a blood thinning substance earlier that day and had continued seeping since.
On arrival at the Unit I was at once dealt with by a very courteous receptionist, who, after registration, directed me to a nearby waiting room saying it would not be too long before attention would be received.
No longer than 5 minutes later I was called into a consulting-room by the doctor.
The doctor immediately put my wife and I completely at ease and instilled in us both total confidence in their presence and competence.
The doctor quickly diagnosed the cause and treated it accordingly to my satisfaction.
During the whole of the session the doctor explained to us in an understandable manner everything that was taking place and courteously answered all our concerns and questions.
Both my wife and I were very impressed by the doctor's approach, manner and attention.
and believe the doctor to be a humanitarian and an excellent doctor.
We certainly will remember our visit not with discomfort or apprehension but with gratitude and good memories.
"An honest appreciation."
