"A and e staff are wonderful"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Accident and emergency

Visited today with my daughter who had a fall from height. It was extremely busy and we were there for several hours. However the staff were wonderful every one of them. I wish I had taken note of more of their names because there were more worthy of a mention. A few I would like to mention are the consultant who kept us up to date and was very thorough and very approachable. Two lovely paramedics who assisted my daughter onto a trolley friendly, fun yet very professional. The Triage nurse had a lovely manner and was very thorough. Finally (although I would love to name more) was a domestic although we didn't have any direct dealings with them I watched them working hard cleaning. They would try to help the patients by finding a nurse for them and other little things that mean a lot when you are in a scary environment made worse if you are in pain. They were quite obviously an asset to the department.
