"the professionalism and patience they showed were fantastic"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

I had an extreme Sciatica attack that brought the most immobilising extreme pain spasms I've ever experienced in my life, I tried for 2 hours to move and was screaming in agony, my son arrived and called an ambulance which arrived in minutes, they were Ann and Dominic.

I made sure despite my ordeal that I would not forget this pair as they were amazing, the professionalism and patience they showed were fantastic, I just want to let them know how much I appreciate the kindness they showed and Thank them for the fantastic help they gave me, without you I do not know what I could have done without you, Thank you so much both..and thank goodness for gas and air aswell, lol big hugs to you both xx

Dear Spasm Women

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on Care Opinion.

I was really sorry to hear about your recent Sciatica attack. I know that Sciatica can be very painful and so it must have been extremely frightening and frustrating not being able to mobilise yourself.

As well as being able to provide you with effective pain relief, I was really pleased to read about the kindness, patience and professionalism shown by Ann and Dominic. I would really like to pass on your compliment to them both but would need some more details about the case to ensure that I identify the correct Paramedics. Can I ask you to contact me on 0131 314 0003 or at martinesposito@nhs.net

I do hope that you have made a full recovery.

Thanks again for sharing.

Take care.

Martin.
