"Long-term care"

About: St Helier Hospital / Nephrology

My husband had connections with St. Helier's Renal Unit in the last six years, ever since he was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease, requiring hospitalisation many a time with his ongoing medical condition.

The service and care he received on every occasion throughout, starting from Ambulance Service, A & E and all connected Renal Wards have always been excellent.

Sadly, he passed away on the last occasion he was hospitalised; 20 Feb - 19 June 2017.

We his family take this opportunity to make a special mention of our ever grateful thanks for the amazing care he received from all Doctors, Nurses and other staff members throughout his long stay in the Renal Wards - "your expertise, dedication and compassion second to none helps to cushion our sad loss - you are NHS at its best!

Thank you."

We are so sorry for your loss, and on behalf of the Trust, send our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback, even during what must be a very difficult time.

We will pass on your comments to our staff. Thank you once again.
