"Emergency treatment for a family friend was..."

About: East Surrey Hospital

My ex brother-in-law was admitted for a mental health issue and also a heart problem. The staff were caring, communicated well and attended to him as and when required. I will not go into too much detail, as I wish to preserve his anonymity, but suffice to say their actions were life saving.

The psychiatric team were very busy so from start too finish it too a long time. To help the situation we were found a room and he was eventually found a temporary bed. They even rustled up a sandwich for us each. We are rightly proud of our NHS and these teams deserve praise.

Dear Grateful membert,

Thank you for sharing your story. It is often the details that make the difference when people have to come to hospital and I am pleased to hear that you felt we worked well with your ex-brother in law to achieve a positive outcome.

With best wishes,

Cathy White
