"4 hours for a spider bite"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

In this afternoon my daughter a spider bite.

When I go in hospital I go inside the "child emergency "in 6:45pm and the all the staff stay in front of the computer, talk and smile.

Just me and another patient in the waiting room.

After 45 min. the other patients come in the waiting room.

13 patients pass in front of me and I asked the staff (9:45pm)when is my turn he tell me "another hour ".

I know that the other people possibly have a serious problem, but I don't understand why all the staff spent a lot time for talk and smile in front the pic and look the personal picture and don't think the patient .10/09/2017 red hill hospital

I am very disappointed and I go in another hospital

Dear Hungry father,

I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the time it took for your daughter to be treated in our emergency department. I will pass your comments on to the senior nurse in the department who will review them. If you would like to make contact with her please email: julie.brimble@sash.nhs.uk

I hope your daughter has recovered fully from her spider bite.

With best wishes,

Cathy White
