"Locked jaw"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

On 8 sept I was transferred from Barrow hospital to Lancaster to have my locked jaw treated .I was a little apprehensive wondering what would happen .

The team were very caring and efficient .The consultant was happy, smiling and very gentle when they inserted the needle into my jaw in order to manipulate it . Much pushing an pulling ensued with their assistant . The happy result was that I could talk again . The nurse who attended to me was also caring .

A very positive experience. ,thank you very much .

Hi Catherine, we're so pleased to hear that you had a good experience at our hospital and that our staff made you feel at ease. I have passed your comments onto the teams involved as I know they will really appreciate them. Thanks again.
