I was kept waiting for an hour and a half at the Orthopaedics department. When I asked staff why I was being kept waiting for so long, they told me I needed to go to the X-ray unit first - which they had neglected to tell me at the start. When I got to X-ray, I was told I'd need to wait around an hour as I was the last to arrive. So I went back to Orthopaedics and told them that I'd like to see the doctor even without a X-ray, as I knew (correctly) that I didn't need one. After over another half hour of waiting, when I finally got to see the doctor, who confirmed I was right about not needing an X-ray, but unfortunately they had the wrong patient data and I had been sent to the wrong doctor. There was no right doctor who could see me and I was told I'd need to seek a new appointment, which would mean another 5-6 weeks wait in addition to the 5-6 weeks I had already waited. I didn't receive any kind of apology for the error or for the waste of my day.
Really disgraceful service all round.
