I accompanied my 21 year old daughter to the urgent care centre (A&E) after she had worrying heart palpitations in the night.
We arrived before 8am and she was seen very quickly ( we were lucky it was reasonably quiet - much, much busier later). It was a very long day of many tests and she was gradually passed up the ladder before seeing senior medical staff and then finaly let home.
At times the process seemed far too long, but we understand that especially the senior staff had many other tasks.
However the attention and care she got was excellent (one member of staff particularly later in the day, but all were very good) and the staff were immensely helpful, sympathetic and friendly throughout - even popping back to see how she was in a few cases.
Thank you.
"Excellent attention"
