"Their answer was how long is a piece of string."

About: Whiston Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Stent inserted 3 months ago, I was told that I would be put on the list for it's removal.

As yet still not had a date for the operation. I rang a few weeks back and after being past around at least four times, I got to the appointments department, I asked could they give me an indication as to a date when the stent would be removed as I was having a few problems. Their answer was how long is a piece of string.

I still have no date and feel left in limbo

Update posted by HenT (the patient)

I went to see PALS yesterday and they were very helpful. Today I received a phone call from them to say that I have now been given a date for the operation which is next month. Thank you PALS for your help.
