With the threat of redundancy looming over me for a year my mental health suffered which exacerbated my life-long physical health. I sought in-house support but they directed me to those that were causing the problems. The catch22 situation resulted in a series of long term illness which only went to serve as further support to redundancy. Inevitably I was made redundant and I fell into an extensive period of what I now know as anxiety. Determined to recover my old self I went on-line and reached out to MIND the mental health charity, completed an initial survey, and then went for assessment - this was the best decision of my life so please seek help if you are in any way concerned that you are suffering ( doesn't cost you anything, the service is fully confidential and you will soon reap the benefits. Believe me, I was initially sceptical of repairing the mind through conversation and analysis, but the results are incredible ).

After 3 months and 7-8 half-hour sessions I now know I am back to being me, able to take on new challenges and return to normality. Don't just sit there, get in touch with MIND!
