I was in Blood Flow Laboratory this morning but no such title appears in your list so I said Haematology?
I've been a patient of Ealing Hospital since 1994 and I am very happy with Ealing but we are losing the hospital bit-by-bit.
The idea of having to go elsewhere was not welcomed.
I have been a patient of NWP since 2014 and my fears were removed from the outset.
I find it excellent in every way (except for parking!! But no-one can do anything about that anywhere).
From the moment you enter NWP you feel an easy and helpful atmosphere. Staff appear to be going about their business in a fairly happy way and, if you stop and look confused, even for a moment, someone asks "are you alright, can I help?".
Blood Tests work like clockwork and on my few visits I didn't even know the needle had entered my vein - I am not exaggerating.
Specific departments for me are Vascular, Haematology, Bloods and Blood Flow Laboratory all staff from junior to senior are superb.
This morning I wasn’t looking forward to being tested in 'Blood Flow Laboratory’ but, it was almost a pleasure!... it was easy, and the Clinician/Radiographer (S?) who did my tests was - pleasant, kind, efficient and explained everything as the tests were being carried out.
Receptionist everywhere, generally speaking, appear to be trained to be a little unpleasant but from entering NWP throughout they are excellent … maybe a special mention to the receptionist in Haematology… they treat everyone as if they are their own personal responsibility and does it cheerfully.
It can’t be easy running a massive centre as Northwick Park & St Marks but I can only comment from my personal experience and I have great respect for ‘this centre of excellence’.
