"They made something I was somewhat apprehensive about much easier to manage."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Attended the department.

Met by the staff at reception and escorted to procedure room. Procedure was fully explained to me including potential issues to watch out for.

The procedure itself was uncomfortable until the local anaesthetic took effect but I was warned of this. It was carried out efficiently and skillfully. I was provided with additional dressings and advice to follow if any concerns.

Staff Nurse David and HCSW Helen  were both very reassuring, excellent communication skills put me at ease and they worked well as a team.

They made something I was somewhat apprehensive about much easier to manage.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback which I have shared with the minor operations team. It is lovely to hear that your experience was a positive one at what can be a very anxious time. I hope your wound is healing well.
